Get ready for the mother of all high teas, as renowned pastry chef Anna Polyviou brings you sweet and savoury delicacies with the help of a very special guest – her mum.
Settle into the plush surrounds of The Langham, and prepare to enjoy fresh-made spanakopita, cakes, loukoumades and much more, all with irresistible Greek flavour and plenty of surprises by the ever talented Anna Polyviou and joined on 7th of May only by her lovely Mum!
The day’s feast is a concoction of savoury and sweet high tea treats which embrace the flavours of Greece, and Anna’s proudly Greek heritage.
Everything is to be made in-house and by hand, with the mother-daughter duo taking full advantage of the open-air cooking stations in the dining space. Eugina will show guests how to make fresh haloumi, the slow-cooked lamb will be roasted on the in-house rotisserie, and spanakopita will be rolled and baked fresh.
It wouldn’t be a Greek feast without some music and a full Greek band will be entertaining all guests – Ήχος της νύχτας’ also known as ‘Sound of the Night’ will be playing throughout the afternoon’s festivities.
